wow that sounds great!
except cheap schleich is using old molds again?? hehehhe
well I do think it will be the new PVC..since the old pvc was toxic and banned..
so it will keep the old mold smurfs value!! at what they are!!
phew!!
unless I am completely wrong!!
anyway its good there are some being discontinued..it makes them
more collectable!! ( gotta look at the bright side!!
)

Awesome, Astro! Thanks for posting! I wonder what Harmony will look like.
I think Astro was talking about the paint job on the molds, not the molds specifically? I'm not a big fan of the new paint.. too glossy and artificial looking. I'd love to see more dull paint used again.

Well of course it depends what they had a George Bush smurf doing really wouldn't it? I am sure if it was up to you Christine you could make a really funny George Bush smurf that you would be really proud of owning.....geez though, I would love to see what you would come up with though.
Burning Bush Smurf
Hanging Bush Smurf
Nut Bush Smurf
Am-Bush Smurf
Bushbeast Smurf
When Bush comes to a shove Smurf
Bush It Smurf
Beat around a Bush Smurf
A turd in the stand is worth 2 of a Bush
These come to mind straight away but I am sure you would come up with something even better.

I've reduced prices on the Farmhouse and Gargamel's Castle as these are being discontinued at the end of the year. If you live closer to the US then please bear in mind Mushroom Village will be cheaper for shipping. These particular buildings are very heavy to ship overseas. Prices have been reduced to try and ensure collectors can obtain these before they go out of production.
I only have a couple of each building in stock at the moment and 10 of each on order which are due in in the next two weeks. So if you want these please don't delay, I can't afford to buy too much stock at the moment unfortunately.

Well I guess it's a case of you don't know what you have until they are taken away Christine. It's a shame I have to resort to paying Stace to post them first so I can quote them though. Still a guy has to do what he has to do in order to have carrots like everyone else. I felt less than human when they deprived me of my vegetational rights.

I've just found out there may be some differences between the discontinued list in Schleich NA and Schleich Germany. I will be finding out more next week hopefully, will keep you all posted (pardon the pun!).

Schleich Germany have also discontinued the school large playset and I tried to order some more but the stock is already gone. I have just one in stock and I have taken it out of the shop because I need to check I put one aside for my personal collection. What a nightmare. You need to move quickly people if you want more of these items. Schleich NA may still have stock but Schleich Europe definitely do not.
The questionable items are below: -
40620 Garden playset
49020 Windmill
20424 Papa (this would make sense with new Papa coming out)
40224 Papa teacher super
I am awaiting confirmation on these though. It would make sense because the other school related products are going.
My contact is going to visit Schleich Germany next week so I will know more then.

Great info Karen, Thanks for keeping us to date.
Now then, important matters. The carrot abuse has been noticed! If this discraceful misuse of carrots continues I will be forced to take action and introduce the killer rabbit to clear all those lunatic escaped carrots.
Which reminds me......... David,
David, the bunny may be set free later, can we keep the flames to a minimum, we don't want a repeat of the last "accident" - no more hot cross bunnies.
