Hi,

I have a question for you collectors.

Have you seen this display on the poster as a real item??

I got pictures today of both this display and the "dollhouse" 41050. Before I only had seen them on posters and the dollhouse I thought never was made. Could it be the ones made when they took the photos for the posters and the catalogue??

I will add the pictures later.

Tintin told me he once have seen a display at a fair.

The display on the poster is huge, as you can imagine when seeing the size of the smurfs. The zeppelin has the letters HEWA 1 on the side.

Hi André,

I remember this being discussed at one of the fair: From memory, I believe there was only one of these ever made (for the picture of course) and one collector who was close to somebody at the company was able to buy or somehow ended up with it when Schleich was having a clear out. I hear they were about to throw it away.

This is only hear say however and I have no evidence to support that.

I have never seen it myself.

D.

That could be correct David

The collector told me I could add the pictures on my website so I put them there as I think a lot of collectors would love to see them. And since I always wants to share knowledge and information about my research to other collectors. :-D Always though I ask if it is OK to use the pictures.

Hi everyone,

Thomas sent me another fantastic picture from the huge display. This time a picture of the display together with Hermann Schneider from a fair in Tokyo in 1984/1985. You can also read the story about the items made from rubber( as the treestump) for Schleich. Fantastic information for collectors, so thanks Thomas!! :worship: :-D

I have added the picture on my website with information.

Update the page if you can´t see any new picture. :o :D
