Wow, that are great smurfs!!!

I love Gargamel and Azrael and the papa in tuxedo is not bad, too. :-D Why does he only wear one glove? :)

But the party and the drummer smurf don't really convince me..Nevertheless: That's a great set!

PS:

20701 Anniversary Smurf
20702 Party Gargamel
20703 Party Azrael
20704 Surprise Smurfette
20705 Party Smurf
20706 Papa Smurf in tails
20707 Drummer Smurf
20708 Bottle Smurf

So we are waiting of a picture of the anniversary smurf. :D

Neither supers nor playsets?

Ohhhhh, not party smurfs...... :???: :???:

They are so hard to work with / set up scenes with unless it's a... party.

On the brightside, Schleich is breaking from its "let's cater to America" styled themes.

The smurfette jumping out of a cake will probably enrage self-righteous hipster mums here.

The smurf with the champaign bottle will probably enrage self-righteous, tee-totaling (abstaining) mums and dads here (seriously: American parents want all tobacco and alcohol references exorcised from anything children might be exposed to. American parenthood is dominated by tee-totaling yuppies who learned everything they needed to know about life in a college sociology class).

On the other hand, the figures are different and interesting. At least they aren't Olympics or more football.....

:joy: Finally, they are here! I love smurf with champage bottle :-D

Oh WOW!!! I love them..they are so cute..I want them all and I want them now :)
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Thanks for posting those, Linda....now how in the world did you get those? :D Thank you for the numbers and names too, Simon :D

Is it just me or is this is a very anti-climatic announcement of the 2008s? :) :) Not sure what I think yet....some I like and just that one of Gargy looks like he's high and drunk :sofunny:

Ok I have split the topic into two so that anyone looking for 2008s can look directly here :D

Ok I think I am out of the twighlight zone now and back on planet smurf........

No worries, happy to help. It wasn't me who got them but I asked if it was okay if I passed them on so thought I'd share the joy :D

Its funny you say that, Stace. I was telling Trish I reckon he looks like he's been on the whacky weed. :) I must say even though I don't like cats much that Azrael is way cute!

There's a problem with the last one coming through. The contact from Schleich tried to email the pic to me instead but the file is too big for my email server's limit. I gotta go to bed now but I'll see if Steve or someone can post the last one when it comes through.

These are fantastic smurfs & I love them all :) I can imagine Gargie saying, "I'lll be yurr besht friend, come on give us a kish" before throwing up all over the sofa :) :)

I really wasn't expecting a new Gargie or Azrael so it's nice to see that they've been included in the celebrations too :D

I'm quite satisfied with the new Smurfs, but I really don't like the Gargamel figure and moreover, 2 out of 8 are Gargamel and Azrael?!
There is also another drummer smurf?!
But the Smurfette, Papa Smurf and Bottle Smurf are really wonderful!
I only hope they will release a playset later in 2008.

Aniversary smurf is by far my fav :) followed by the party blower.

The one with the bottle... :???: isn't there already enough smurfs holding something just like that - easy mold re-use!?
And of course, yet another drummer... why not plates instead?

They should have hired smurfysteve to design the smurfs. ;)

Really dislike Gargamel.. and Azrael... well, when I saw his pic, it looked like some homemade pic....
