That's why we got 2 sets - one to open, one to keep unopened And think of it like this, Gerda....the cookies will go bad and you'd have to eventually get rid of them anyway, so why not enjoy them now We took out some old smurf candy from years ago and it is disintegrating...wish I'd eaten it back then now we just have to throw it away
