Hi,

in germany and austria there is a new promo smurf from Schleich.

It is exlusivly sold with a magazine. Today my doghter saw it as we were shopping. I was able to get 2 pieces. The magazine is 4 €

The smurf comes in a sealed box.

The first ones are on ebay.

New mania as there was with the BASF Promos ?

Oh that's not fair...we also got a smurf magazine for the movie but no smurf with it

@Kath: This is a special smurf mag called "Die Schlümpfe 2" and it has been released by the same publishing house which used to release any of the latest comics mags, namely Blue Ocean.

I have tryed to find some more. No good chance, but i do not live in a big city area.
Maybe in citys you have better chance. For all collectors outside germany i would try to get one on ebay. I think at the moment we are in the early stage of a comming hype.
At the moment there is one in auction ending this evening and one for BIN 18 €
Remember the hype with Dr. DINCH. This one is not as buityful but original schleich and with the blister it was made for collectors to make collecting smurfs interesting in future.
Very clever straregie by schleich.
I have nothing to do with the ebay auctions i talked about.

I was at many newspaper-shops last days, very hard to get them.
I think only a small quantity is produced.
I got only some, so if someone interested, feel free and let me know...

yes it´s only a old mold, but after longer time a real Schleich promo

Who is buying these magizines. I think the most will be parents for their children and they will put it out of the blister ... this one will also go it´s way and will be a must for each collector.

Just a curious question...what makes this one a promo? And if this one is a promo, would you consider the smurfs on card currently available at Toys R Us promos as well?

In this case it is a promotion for the movie "the Smurfs 2" and that would make it a promo???

The toys r us smurfs on blisters are just schleichsmurfs sold on cards in toystores, eventhough sold at the same time.
