I am curious to know what was your best Smurf things for 2022?

I use the word ‘things’ because this year I purchased a couple of amazing jigsaw puzzles. One was an old ASS 140 piece puzzle, some old National Benzole ones and a Ravenbuger 1000 piece one.

I also collected some new figurines but not as many compared to the last few years. These included the 2022 Schleich Smurfs and the German McDonald’s ones.

I look forward to hearing about your best Smurf things for 2022. I hope everyone has been keeping well.

Thanks for sharing these with us, Tommo.

I really liked the Spy with the markings on the legs.

In your opinion are you finding the postage for Smurfs, putting you off from purchasing them? I have found this year the postage from the UK/Europe to Australia has become ridiculous. This is especially the case when purchasing from a private seller.

Hi Kath,
postage is one thing, it's the added tax due to Brexit in the UK which is also a real pain. It really is becoming so expensive to buy even cheap smurfs. :banghead: From the US it's also insanely expensive due to the con that is the Global Shipping programme. Plus, we also have in the UK where sellers in Europe won't ship outside of the EU :( Plus there are less and less smurfs coming up on ebay although that could be because I don't need the ones I see on there. :) :) :)
cheers, Tommo

Shipping can be very expensive. The ebay shipping program for sellers lacks at some points.
Shipping to Australia or UK can be done quite cheap for up to 8 smurf. In a letter with max height 3cm and max. worth of 50 euro.
Costs 15euro for Australia and 12 euro for UK
It depends on the height of the smurfs and if something can break off

I have bought very few smurfs in 2022, first because I have many in boxes bought in the 10 past years that are not listed yet, second because of high shipping prices from everywhere and especially from Germany (Grossbrief international is no more possible) and United Kingdom, third well yes because I have many many blues now and less time to deal with the research of the missing ones.
Lets' hope 2023 will be better !
