We got them today! :)
Just to be found in the local cartoon shop here in Arnhem. Last year they only recieved a part, and took ages before they had complete set, now they received them 10 days ago. The stand is on hold for us, when it gets available we should also get that! :D
I will put a pic, when they are in there spot...

Having themn in your hands live, they look nice!

My complete set was in the mail today, and as I opened - surprise surprise - i got the first mold virgin :) :)

The gap between flower and hair is approx. a half mm, see pics.

Now i have to watch out for the second mold...

Thank you friends for sharing info about this mold variation with me

Stefan,

according to Schleicher the version you got is the version they made in the first batch before changing the mold. So you just has to relax and wait, becuase the other version is the one they will make from now on. :-D

You have already got the one we all would like to have. :o :D

Congrats and thanks for the picture. I hope I get mine in the mail tomorrow and I get the same as yours. :-?

I know that there are 2 versions of this smurfette but what will the other one look like? I thought Schleicher said something about a flower being on her hat on the 2nd version :-?

I've just found it...
Oookay, I'll tell ya:

Spoiler warning:

The Virgo smurf: First batch has the flower NOT attached to the head. Any future Virgos will have the flower attached to the head. Don't go looking in the 2010 smurf display, you'll probably not find the first batch in the display. Chances to find the first batch in Nirth America should be higher than elsewhere, but in total there will be more variations in "Not-North America". This might sound confusing, but if you think about it, it CAN make sense if you know statistics.

Hafe fun in finding the variation!
The 2 that I bought both have a gap between the head & the flower but I think the gap is bigger (can't look right now).

I think they changed the mold so the flower is attached to the head. The first batch was sold with this loose flower. But Schleicher also told us that the first batch is the biggest so I think there will be many of the first version, so it won´t be very hard to find.

Maybe now in the beginning it will be harder to find the later version?? :-?

How attached is attached? I have the impression that at mine the flower touches the head only because of the paint.
That might have been excatly the reason to change the mold, because with a tiny gap it is harder to paint correctly and keep the gap open.

Also the paint might crack open if you would actually play with it.

But honestly, who would play with a virgin?

I will try to make and put up a detailed pic this evening...

I got the smurfs today and like Schleicher told us "don´t go looking for the first version in the displayboxes"

So I got the one with attached flower.

Well mine indeed (you were right, forgot about that) came also out of a display box, and looks exactly the same.
Saves me taking/showing a picture :)

lilou,

I'd mean with SET the complete twelve, they were not packaged and sealed together in a plastic bag from Schleich and I got it in one parcel.

Ordered and bought from a dealer here in Germany, Bernd Maier, the Publisher of the KMS Comicfiguren Preiskatalog.

I guess dealer or toy shops get their figurines also in sealed plastic bags with approx 5 or 10 figurines of each sort / Schleich number. The display box with 3 x 12 smurfs is for additional promotion and better presentation I think.

I suppose its better to check the shelfs in toy stores than the display boxes (according to Schleicher's hint).

I also got mine from Bernd, Stefan.

I only ordered the set of twelve but he sent me the displaybox also and had 2 sets removed. Because of easy packing I guess???? :-?

And I guess it could be different versions in the displayboxes also.

My set arrived this week from Lorraine, many thanks!

I can understand all the legal stuff about the address, but Schleich, please don't print it in the back of the Smurfs' heads!
They aren't available yet in the Italian stores, although there are already the new Schleich catalogues in Italian!

I was pleasantly shocked by the theme this year....very creative!!!
I'm going to place my order today for them...
I was sad at some of those retired...but it's good for us collectors, right? Last weekend I was working down in St. Louis and went to a toy store and bought a bunch of "doubles" for my collection, ironically many were those now retired! My instincts must have been guiding me, I had no idea!
They were all $3.99 each.
