Hej Andre,

since you are from Sweden, I was just wonderring, if you know the exact number of those collector cards, which had been released in the late 1970's. I got some of them from my friend one and a half year ago and I was lucky to find about some three hundred cards, whilst being in Stockholm with him last year. I know that these sets of collector cards featured musicians, actors, actresses and other comic figures as well, but I'm particularly interested in the smurf (and the ABBA) sets. Btw. what they called and if there is any Swedish site about those collector cards on the net, so that I might be able to look at some sets as well, to help my friend to complete his Lill-Babs and Alice-Babs sets.

These were sold twice. I don´t know the year exactly but it says 1979 on the pictures so I guess around there.

First there were 78 pictures and then 78 more so a total of 156 different smurfpictures. Some of them I had trouble finding. When I only missed one I changed 40 spare ones I had( numbers he didn´t have) against this last one. These pictures I believe also is the ones on the back of the candybox. But not that many.

The pop-star pictures are numbered from 1 to 999 and maybe in more than one serie so these I don´t know so much about. I have a few of these. I found 2 ABBA there and one of the Macahan family.

I will send a picture as soon as my son let me have the other computer with the camera software so I can download it. But 18.00 Stargate Atlantis starts on the TV so around there I suppose he is gone.

I have also some pop-stars in the front, but these I never collected.

I can send you the once you don´t have and I have as spare once for free. They are not so expensive on Tradera( swedish ebay) here.

I'm also searching for these cards. I have almost completed the first 78, but I have none from 79 on.
Any help is appreciated, and I still have 4 BP gardeners in original plastic bag I can trade.

Maybe Angus is. In this case it means Pop news. But i am not sure Angus would appriciate beeing called a Popstar.?? I also found a card of Kiss and many of Andy Gibb. If he still has any fans out there.

I think they have mixed the Rod Stewart-picture with the one of Bette Midler on this one. Don´t you?? Those were the days.

number 33 and a swedish wrapping for these if you don´t have it.

It is 58 different spares I have between 79 and 156.

I think it was number 96 I had trouble finding.
