Is it just me or are the Smurfs of the late 80s - early 90s hard to find on Ebay. Most of the Smurfs I need are from that era and the ones they have on there normal go over 5.00 yet the smurfs from the 70s and early 80s always seem to be there.

Well, some (but not all) smurfs from that period have become rare, e.g. the school cones. I, for instance didn't know that the animals (Puppy, Smoogle and Chitter) belonged to the Smurfs at all, until I bought my first DSK in 2001.

:o Finally decided to try and cataloge and put my Smurfs in some sort of order. Also from another thread I realised that should I shuffle the mortal coil my wife would have no idea as to the value of my collection and may just take them down to Oxfam. :argue: Generally if I buy a Smurf for about £20 I tell the the wife I paid a pound for it.l
:-? Back to the subject, it appears for me to get 2.0001 to about 2.0200 quite easy and all the variations, there after I am sadly missing a lot as they do not seem to crop up very often. n.b. I'm sure that I would have been able to fill many gaps at Blue Paradise which I missed last year due to finances and booked into this year, but some $%£$% happened that I had to go into work! hey ho next year maybe!
