Adelaide Toy Fair 2010

Today was the annual Adelaide Toy Fair! Never thought I'd manage to top last years lucky haul of smurfs but I think I did just as good this year!! So I'm very happy. A lot of smurfs to find everywhere again. Common pvcs mainly. This is what I came home with:
My first smurf buy were these 3 small framed smurf 'bubble' pictures. Has anyone seen these before? They pictures sort of have a 2D look 'bubble' off the print. It says Peyo Printed In Spain on them all. A surfing smurf, fishing smurf & musican, which this one is damaged. They were priced a little high for what they were. 18AU each but managed to get a deal for the 3 as the one was damaged. So worked out about 13AU each instead. But thought something different I haven't got in my collection & hadn't seen before. Closer pic:
Next was the watchman keyring, which when I got home I found that I already have him. Always the way. Last years fair I passed on buying a keyring because I thought I had it already but then when I checked at home I actually didn't... so I've done the opposite this year. oh well. Next I brought the smurf bin with the smurf royal show bag inside it. Again something different I didn't have. Square bin, not in the best shape but still very nice. And the plastic bag from back during the 80s when the royal shows here in Australia had a smurfs showbag. Straight onto the next table with the asians who are always at the fair with the fakes... that fake baseball smurfette was there again. But they have a few genuine smurfs there. I brought the sleeping at desk super I didn't have. Another table I found a smurf VHS tape (my cheapest buy of the day 4AU). And lastly there was a stall with a couple of these Bburago die-cast jeep vehicles. I know I'd seen these online before. Not a huge fan but thought it was something different & brought one of them. The surfer jeep. They also had the one with the 2 smurfs in the jeep. I'm not sure but I think the boxes have been mixed up. As just thinking about it, the other box had surfer smurfs on it. The toy is loose in the box, perfect/new condition though. Does anyone know if this is the wrong box or is it correct? Here is a closer photo front & back:
So that was my smurf buys. You can see I brought a couple non-smurf things as well. The Battlestar Galactica cylon centurion.. I have wanted one of these for a long time but they are always expensive. This one was at a good price, had been opened for display so not brand new in the box but just as mint & I haggled an even cheaper price with all the money I had left in my wallet after finishing the fair. So this was my last buy. Also a nice surprise I saw a bunch of Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman old photographs on the stall I brought the diecast on. 10 photos all up. Had to have those, something different. Love Linda Carter.
So it was a great day. Looking forward to next weekend. There is a Record fair on & a collectors fair. Paper advertisement says brick brak, stamps, toys etc. Never been to that one so will take a look. Hope I'm as lucky as today.
