I thought for a moment when I saw the tittle of this thread that it was going to delve into the mythology of the smurfs not how they began to be drawn,not surprisingly the earlier smurf drawings were far simpler just like Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny started out as well.

I have to admit the title of the thread is very tongue in cheek...really couldn't think of a better one but still loved the picture and wanted to post it
