My DVD supplier got smurfs DVDs from Australia. He bought them online from www.magnapacific.com.au

Did not buy from the site myself but looks reliable.

DVDs are originals and optimum quality.

No word on USA DVDs that I've heard of -- Australia seems to be the only place with the english-speaking cartoons right now. Here's another topic for some more info:

Hi nckadams, welcome aboard.

I think we are all hoping that the DVDs get released worldwide and with any luck this will be the case, especially with the movie due out in 2008. Personally I think this will be the case, I can't see the DVDs only being released in one country. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

I'm only aware of them in region 4 (Oz, NZ etc) and pirate copies on ebay.. My website has a piccy of the discs but not the episode listings (in the collection part). Wasn't there a thread here with a good listing of them?
There are currently only 7 DVDs released with the 8th coming March next year I think. The pirate copies are poor quality (especially on large screen TVs) but have far more episodes than will be released on DVD when they are all out.
