Margaret, the one everyone refers to is Der Schlumpf Katalog IV
it's in German.
Hopefully an updated one comes out soon.
Karen has this book in her shop

Yep, the DSK (as we call it for short) is the most used and probably the best, but it isn't faultless. It contains some very dubious 'variations' and 'testversions'. On the other hand, it is very incomplete for the playsets, houses, and other accessories, although the last version of the catalogue is already an improvement.
It is in German, but most of it is fairly easy to understand, and there are a number of people here always willing to help with translating the rest.

Hi Margaret, as already recommended, the Der Schlumpf Katalog is the best but as John mentions, the KMS Preiskatalog is also very good for PVC figures but again, there are a few "dubious" colour variations in it. Another book worth considering, especially for the non PVC figures is the
Smurfs Around The World - The unauthorised guide to smurf merchandise from all over the world.
It does contain info on the PVCs but the amount of other smurf merchandise in it is incredible.

I own some of the actual items that were photographed in that book now...and so does Gerda. You may have to pay us a fee now everytime you look at those pages Rae. We will invoice you for only half the fee if you promise to view those pages with one eye closed.
If I can be serious for just a minute...it's a great book isn't it Rae. Unfortunately some of my pages in my book got stuck together during the excitement of the viewing...would it be possible to borrow your copy sometime?

Just incase it happens again i won't want it back
You said Gerda and yourself had some items from that book, have they sold off their collection?

have they sold off their collection?
She is just downsizing her collection a bit. Apparently only about a 3rd of her collection was actually photograhed for the book so as you can imagine she has tons and tons of stuff.
I wish it was all included in the book and I know she does as well but they only selected what they wanted to photograph and left the rest out including some pretty cool items I hear.
There are other members here that have also added to their collection from this book as well......one even hit the jackpot.
