Great! I know next to nothing of those, so just curious: are they real or fake? They look good, but it's hard to tell from a picture...

They look like the real ones to me Fram, the smurfette's face isn't squashed like the fakes, and there are no visible seams..also you got the praying pair without the chord Steve - nice smurfs

I agree, they look quite real, I've both fake ones and ones that were sold to me as real ones, and there's a definitive difference between them, and these look more like the real ones than the fake ones, so there... Congrats again steve..!

Yes i was so glad to get them. Yes they are the real ones. But i would like to get a fake pair at some point.
I wouldnt of dreamed of getting them on ebay if it wasnt for Dennis at passion for giving me a lesson on how to tell the real ones from the fake ones.
Thanks dennis.
Untill then i wouldnt of had a clue were to start. Having the real one to compair to the fake was great and it is realy easy to tell when you can compair them.
They are realy special along with my surprise cones and are amongst my favs.
Smurfy regards, Steve.

Congrats Steve....they are nice ones to have and the ones without the cord are cool...I don't have those ones yet and possibly never will due to money not growing on trees these days.
Well done

Yeaha! Very nice! Without the cord, very nice.
Congratulations, Steve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THEY ARE 100% REAL, you can tell it in a sec.
Also the fake ones are always with cords.
I know how it feels when you have those in your collection.

Thanks Steve!
I never thought about it until the other Steve and I talked about these in the Passion. And when I saw your message I studied mine carefully. They are fakes. You can actually see the edge (or what you call it) of the two pieces. Not so clearly on the boy, but on Smurfette it's clear.

Hi Steve, I was so pleased when you told me you had got these two as I know how much you wanted them. Congratulations.
Yonna, I am sorry to hear you have discovered yours are fakes, that must have made you so unhappy. I will also keep a look out for you for some real ones.
