Hi
I have just seen a Dupuis smurf. It cost 26,50 Euro and since I think it is really expensive though, I was just wonderring how much I should spent on such a cutie.

Hi Dominique
The Dupuis Smurfs are beautiful.....I think Fram would be the best one to ask. Do you know which Dupuis Smurf it is and what size it is? I know this would be a big help in answering your question.

It is about 8 inches large and is a normal smurf, but since I have not heard about those smurfs before studying the biography (which features a very cute pic of Peyo and a Dupuis smurf) before, I would not call myself that omniscient.

Hi Dominique
I have this one and I know Fram and me have both bought ones for less than half that price (under 10 euro)....although I think that is quite cheap so I don't know what the average price for one would be.
They do look very nice though....is it in really nice condition?

OK, I better save the money for the fleamarket tomorrow. Now that smurf is in mint condition. But since I will go to Antibes tomorrow morning, I wait and see. (26,50 Euro seems like hell indeed) Thanks for yor reply, Syd.

You're welcome Dominique
I know Fram is the best person to speak to but I thought you may need a quick reply and I think Fram has gone out to the spear shop this morning getting his tip sharpened for the weekend.
I hope you find a nice one tomorrow for a better price

Hi Dominique, I am no expert on the Dupuis I am afraid but he does sound like a very nice example. I am trying think how much they were at the Passion but I can't remember sorry, I don't think €26 is very expensive for one.

hi! Dominique!
I also have some Dupuis smurfs, the small pvc ones and the the one
you mentioned which I think is about 11cm? I paid about the same
as Dyar and Fram, this one is pretty common.
the smaller ones the size of a regular smurf with their hands out stretched are alot more expensive like these on this web site well over
80 euro. check
http://perso.orange.fr/schtroumpf/PAGE% ... rf481.html
there are other small ones which are small, that Dyar has on his website
which are approx 5-10 euros.. these look almost like fake smurfs.
and off course the large Dupuis smurf which is 30 cm is well over
150 to 250 euros..
here is a pic.

Ah, I have teached everybody well, I see
The normal, 15 cm Dupuis Smurf is by far the easiest of them all, and sells usually for around 10 Euro at eBay.
Of course, you have to add postage to that, so if you can buy him at a shop or a fleamarket, you can give a bit more.
The other ones are the five 5 cm ones (around 50 Euro each, perhaps slightly more for prisoner and golden), the 15 cm ones (Papa, about 30 Euro; Angry, about 60 Euro, and King, around 150 Euro if complete (with original cape)), and the large 30 cm normal one that Attom showed (varying prices, from 50 to 200).
These prices are only indicative, as they don't come too often they tend to vary wildly.

Thanks Fram and Attom for the info. I always enjoy hearing about the Dupuis smurfs as it reminds me how much I want them.

Here is a reasnoably priced and at first glance very nice normal 15 cm one for sale, and the same seller also has a very battered 15 cm
Papa as a bargain buy.
Again, these two are the easiest ones to find of the Dupuis Smurfs.
