I'd noticed that about the price too!! It would be cool if they keep the lower price.


The second shows a difference between the footballer I already had & the new one. Both have the same markings:

Schleich, Germany, 3, 97, Peyo, CE

except for the small difference that the new one has 'made in China' to the left of his tail. The red is much darker on the new one & the number 10 is much longer as well. See for yourselves.... )?

I noticed those differences as well. If only this series was continued on a regular basis, so that we might see more variations next year as well.

since I got a call from my mum the other day, I just wanted to tell you that Panini has discontinued the Special Schlumpf Mag. That means that the series is lacking the August, October and December mags. My mom promised to give Panini a call and ask them. I promise to get back to you, once she has called me back.

I went to the newsagents at the railway station on Thursday & Friday & there wasn't a Schlumpf Mag Extra in sight so it looks like you could be right about it being discontinued. I hope your mum can find something out Dom....

in fact, my mum asked the shop to get in touch with Panini. Sadly she has been waiting for any reply for almost three weeks.

I wrote an email to Panini on Sunday so I'm waiting to see whether they give me a reply.....

The last post says that after not getting any answers from their questions posted on the panini website, they called them. The Schlump Mag Extra has been discontinued. You can order the Papa figure (only that one) for €2 + €1.45 p&p.

It doesn't say from where you can order the figure though

That is so sad that they no longer release them...but guess what those magazine will be some nice collector's items soon.

Yes it was Maureen, if you scroll back 1 page you can see the scan I made of the inside back cover with the next releases on it.

Panini may sell them directly in this case

I had a reply from Panini 30 minutes ago so it's official:-

es tut mir sehr leid, Ihnen sagen zu müssen, dass das Schlumpf Mag Special nicht mehr erscheint. Die Ausgabe vom August war schon nicht mehr im Handel.
