Just thought I'd better put my 2c worth in and say hello. I've only recently gotten into smurf collecting. I decided to go through some of my old stuff as we are about to move house and I stumbled on some smurfs from my childhood. That was enough to get me stuck on smurf collecting. Strangely enough my wife also had some of her original smurfs.
Some of my best memories are of going to the local BP petrol station, seeing the giant smurf out the front and then drooling over the glass counter looking at all the mint smurfs up for grabs. Ah, those were the days.
Anyway, back to reality!!
Looking forward to learning all about vintage smurfs here.
