Hi Brainy's Babe! Welcome to the forum! :D

Great avatar!

And great preview pic for the entry you are working...

Forget red jelly jam... blood is good!!!! :P

Although, this has to be pig's blood: There is still a debate out there on the actual color of Smurf's blood... :) :) :)
:dragon: I like the smell of Napalm, first thing in the morning...:dragon:

Don't forget that November is a short month, just 11 days left to work on the 9th Halloween smurf. :D

I know I know .. I already have an entry and its my fav but here are a few more I have knocked together for you all to enjoy.

Buffy the Vampire slayer.. wears makeup and flash clothes to go out on the town and beat up Vampires.. when I was young we used to go out and party.

Valkries ..takes the souls of the fallen viking to Valhalla for an eternity of reliving the glory of his death .. some same Valkyries were the forerunner to the legend of vampires.. I just think smurfette looks hot in a Xena type outfit and blonde!

a Hunchback .. yip I know the hunchback of Notradame was a romantic story but anything soppy scares me!

more piccys of these on my website.. the counter is currently on 950 so not long before the big 1000 :-).. I never thought it would happen, I guessed it would poop out around 200-300

enjoy

Hi Brainy's Babe
First up welcome aboard .. and I really love your art work :-) We ahve some very tallented individuals on here
:D

If you are looking for alternative materials to mold smurfs with may I recommend blue-tack .. its sticky, cheap and easy to mold. Start with a smurf thats close to the shape, then add the bits you require with bluetack. Then when you have the shape you can cover it with PVA glue to strengthen it and remove the stickiness. I would recommend a skeleton structure of some kind for any large bits. I have a thread on the smurf surgery forum if you want more info.

All for the good of smurfdom ... The Valkyrie only took a few hours from thought to photo so the turnaround times on such creations can be very quick. The biggest problem is waiting for glue and paints to dry.

Have fun
Daryl

I love your creations - your very good at this! :-D

My main problem is my smurf collection isn't large and I don't have any I could stand to custom just yet :( Can't wait for the summer so I can pick up a few spares and have a go at this, you've given me loads of ideas 8)

I've been building smurfs from scratch but I can't seem to get them "on model".

Thanks for the advice!

I deliberately drooped her hair and dress cuz she's ment to be wet. Sorry to those of you who like the smurfette's dress a little shorter :neener: :)

awsome entries Briany's Babe and Attom.. the end of the month is looming and the creations are starting to pop fourth. Really good ideas and well executed (if you excuse the pun).
:)
I've only today just received the package of smurfs for pimping/customising that I ordered from europe on the first week of the month... nevermind my first attempt has to stand.
