I feel sorry for you guys battling with the heat.
I'm going to Darwin ( Top of Australia )

in August for a week.
It will only be 30 degrees but the humidity makes it hot and sticky.

I can't wait, makes a change from having 14 - 17 degrees here

I prefer the heat

I've got a lovely picture I took on Saturday, while on a bushwalk, of an Aussie Midwinter's Day I will have to find for you all. The weather was so glorious I just had to take a pic. The sun was shining and the sky was blue. I was thinking no-one will ever believe its a winter pic.

PS: Gray, I even saw a roo hop past me while I was on the walk....he was too quick for the camera though!

yeah my money would be on Dyar too, Rae......though I reckon I could put $50 on him blaming Syd!

I thought it was pretty strange for you to write something like that.....although its pretty strange for Dyar to too (Its pretty tame for him!)

I'll just butt in here to say hi & to wish everyone a great couple of weeks as I'm off on my hols going to Devon to visit my family. We're leaving on Saturday morning & coming back on the 12th of August so I won't be around here for a bit. Take care everyone
