Hi everybody !!
I think fate wants to tell me something. The other day I read the release date of the smurfs movie on the new Schleich catalogue.I don´t know if it will be the same date worldwide but at least in Spain it seems that it will be on august 3rd.
I´ve always liked this particular day mostly for one reason...It´s my birthday!!!
I know it´s ridiculous but I feel closer to Smurfs than ever. And I really hope they won´t change the day because I know the most perfect way to celebrate my birthday this year...

well Carlos, I hope for you, it will all come true!
And if they change the date in Spain, you simply celebrate your birthday in Holland or Belgium, because I just read that the movie starts on the 3rd of August here too!

I have said all along that I would not be going to see the movie becase I can't see 3-D. A friend told me a couple of days ago that more than 95% of theaters can't play 3-D movies. In order to play 3-D movies it requires a very expensive upgrade to their equipment. Besides people like me that can't see 3-D. It makes many people sick, and I guess the glasses are uncomfortable. So now I am re-thinking if I will go or not.

Thankfully most theaters will have 2D available. Being blind in one eye I can't see 3d movies either. Every now and then my wife and oldest daughter sneak off to a 3d movie without me, but they're ussually happy to go with me to the 2d version. I dread the day that movies are only released in 3D (hope it never happens). We picked up the deluxe addition of Tangled last week it amazed me the equiptment they expect you to have in your homes to be able to watch the 3D version (special glasses, 3D Tv, and some weird cables). I'll take my smurfs in 2D thank you.
