Hi Dominique! Thanks for the links!

in your opinion, which one do you think I should get for tha maximum info on the kinder smurfs? (I can't read the german description, so I am not sure which one is the best to go for)

Cheers,

David

The problem with all these catalogues is that you need to buy a revised version year after year, just like the DSK.

If I were you, I'd pick up the latest editions only or decent books,
just like these:

http://www.amazon.de/Spielzeug-aus-2007 ... 220&sr=1-1 (small,but very much information given)

http://www.amazon.de/Spielzeug-aus-dem- ... 340&sr=8-2

http://www.amazon.de/O-Ei-Preisf%C3%BCh ... 220&sr=1-3

However, the "Das Gelbe vom Ei" book(a playing term on the German proverb meaning 'It is very brillant' as well as the yellow part/the essential of the egg) is very funny and interesting though.

You are very much welcome, Staci! :) I know that many Germans collect these figures and there are also many egg fairs taking place in Germany. :) I used to buy a lot of those eggs when I was a kid. :)
I still have some figures from some of the series e.g. smurfs, aristocats, Mickey and his friends, but I wasn't much into it, since smurfing was my only goal. :)

Another thing I'd like to mention, is that Ferrero changed the name as well as the packing in Germany last month.
I didn't know that...what are they called now, Dominique and what do they look like?

Kind of a bummer as I always loved them myself since I was a small child.... Seeing them again in the stores brought a smile to my face when I remembered devoring them and not being able to wait to see what toy was in there :-D It didn't take much to make me happy when I was a child....actually it still doesn't take much to make me happy 8-)

I think, I was a little wrong, Maureen:
Ferrero only sells this kind of surprise egg variation called "Kinder Joy" from May to September. However, the "Überraschungsei" (surprise egg) also contains figures.
Check out the official site for images and further information:

Hello again and thanks for all these informations! :-D

I´m very interested in knowing if we can see in any of these catalogs the Smurfs strips offered by Kinder with some of the figurines. I show here some of these strips (thanks to Barrufet).

Postby Tojo » Wed Jun 20, 2007 11:06 pm
Hey those are excellent cartoons & I'm glad you've posted them. What is on the other side of them? Are they blank or were the Kinder smurfs displayed on them?

Thanks Maureen that's answered my question :D I really like the look of the playsets & always start drooling when I look at Mr. Dragon's Kinder pages (sabber, sabber).
