I've been setting my new smurfs in the data base, when I notice this wierd donut/ringed shaped yellow mark on the foot of 20039 Mallet...

Is this a documented mark (didn't found it on Blue Imps marking section), or did I found something wierd?

I'm guessing it's not a "marking" either but maybe something somebody marked on there that owned the smurf before

I'm quite sure, I have seen something like that before, but at the moment I can't look at my smurfs. I willl do it later.
I think it is just a "wrong mark" that wasn't stamped much enough on the smurf...

I have got at least two smurfs with such markings in my collection. One is even black:

At first glance I did wonder if it was meant to be a paint dot that had been smudged when wet. I can't recall seeing this before although if I do come across it on a smurf I will of course let you know.

Possibly as Stace says, a personal marking, I have plenty of smurf with various ink marks on them. You can just imagine the kids "No, he is mine, look I have written my name!"

Well I checked my smurfs and i have mallet smurf with the same yellow paint ring?????

I think I have seen this mark before too on at least one of my smurfs....I wasn't too sure what it was at the time from memory.

When I have them out again and when I find any I will also post what smurfs they are.

Well I knew I had seen this somewhere before , and fortunately didn't have to go too far through collection to find one (this is a brainy with red glasses)

I have handled hundreds of smurfs today and it was only after I had finished I realised I could have been checking feet for this mark.

Maybe when I am putting them away.
