I used to watch her when I has a kid too! :)
Still have the PVCs figures from the show in a box somewhere. :-D

What's "Sandmännchen"? Is it the Sand Man? :-?
yes Hilary, he is. Every evening at around 6.50 pm Sandmänchen starts on TV. First there's a short animated film of him & then there's a 5 minute TV program for the little ones, something different each day. After that Sandmännchen comes on again, blows some sand & the program is over.

Night night kids, up to bed :)

There are in fact 2 different sets of Sandmännchen programs, those made in W. Germany & those made in E. Germany. The ones from the east are more popular.

As you can see, sitting she is a similar size to the boys although I think she'd be taller if she stood up. They are made of the same sort of plastic.
