When reading this again it seems they were able to get these promos for members. That should mean that the promo probably was pretty close to the year 1988. So maybe 1986??? What do you think??

Maybe closer to 1987? I wonder if some former members of the club remember..I know we have a few of them on here

If she was hoping to get a larger amount of these smurfs they would have still be available either from the park or from Schleich with who she had excellent relations with.

Snail mail usually took about 2 weeks for a letter to go between Germany and the USA so she would have gotten the news fairly fast.

I forgot that I had this picture from a former member of the SCCI. As you see she got this 10th of October 1988 from the SCCI. Date on deliverynote!

So probably the promo was made around 1986/87 as we know they usually have for a while like the BASF smurfs.

Would be nice to find out when this park opened!
