I was thinking about something.
If we say there are approximatly 450 normal smurfs, 75 supersmurfs and 65 accessories.
And maybe a average of 10 variations of these in paint and markingvariations.
This would mean around 6000 variations. And then many promos, keychains, clips, sharpeners, stands etc. You probably have to add at least around 500-1000 variations more.
That is also why it takes alot of time and dedication for the collectors, when writing about them. So when making my website, I more and more admire the ones who have already done theirs!!
Also the amount of work the administrators of the SCCI must have had in the 80s and 90s.
And like Jamie wrote in the thread about the websites. The amount of work is daunting. Not only for the programmer, but just think about the work writing about at least 6000 pieces!!
Unless off course making it simple and only using existing lists.
But for a real smurf-lover it is a pleasure! My website will probably takes years though when doing it on free time??
