It's here It's here.. I'm so happy! :D When I first bid and won the auction I had no idea that it was all in German.. All the playsets where ones I did not already have as they where all in german and the parts where all diffrent too. :D

so now I have several question for you smurfers....

1. does anyone know if all the carousel smurfs are suppose to be the same? I had one thinker in the box and three sitters!

2. how comon is the red butterfly? it's the first one I have ever seen so I'm just wondering.

3. how many german playsets have the clear celophane back to them? I had the snail and well that had this, the others did not!!

Ok that's it for questions, A coment though on the carousel WOW.. it's amazing that any of these did survive and it is no wonder they are rare, The swings on these are made of a thin plastic and I can see them breaking easily just by a kid trying to put the smurfs in place, I know my kids would have this broke in no time if they where to actually play with it. but it's an amazing piece.. Sean was eyeing it up and asked me if I had that one double so he could get it he was upset when I said no.... then I made the mistake of telling him that all the smurfs would go to him when I die. I better sleep with one eye open from now on because he was pretty happy about that :???:

Oh Gerda, you lucky thing. I am so pleased to hear it has turned up safe and sound. The carousel is right at the top of my want list and has been for a long time. Now that you have shared how pleased you are with yours I want one even more now. :gimme:

I can't help with the figures I am afraid but it would be interesting to know exactly which smurfs should be with it.

I will have a check of my playsets tomorrow to see about the clear backs. :D

The red butterfly is lovely. :smitten:

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

Gerda, I have a few playsets too with the clear cellophane backing - I'll have to double check for you but I think the forklift is one of them :-?

Really!! mine don't have the holes in there butts, and the seat is slick no peg (does yours have a peg to sit the smurfs on or is it flat??) All the smurfs are the smaller smurfs (mold variation)
Interesting.. Thanks attom!! :D

Hi Gerda

I am really pleased for you too....this was such a nice auction to win and I know you are in a sort of wonderland at the moment and I don't blame you. Congratulations on winning such nice items that we would all love to have.....except for Attom who already has the Carousel of course....we can all be jealous of you guys now as this looks to be a fantastic item and one usually out of my price range.
so now I have several question for you smurfers....

1. does anyone know if all the carousel smurfs are suppose to be the same? I had one thinker in the box and three sitters!
I had a feeling they should all be Sitters......but I will have to check the Katalogs, I know one of these have them in it.
2. how comon is the red butterfly? it's the first one I have ever seen so I'm just wondering.
I don't think it's very common at all Gerda. I have seen this one in the past and have tried to win it previously but been unsuccessful....along with other ones like the 2 colours on the old Smurfette's cottage. It's a nice bonus that came with this lot and there are tons of variations among the butterflies as well....the things we collect...lol.
3. how many german playsets have the clear celophane back to them? I had the snail and well that had this, the others did not!!
A very interesting question Gerda. I collect the different boxes as you know and I did know some do and some don't have the clear plastic but I have never really thought much about them. I will have a look at my ones tonight and see what I can find as it should be an interesting assignment. I will let you know what I discover.

Dyar

PS - I wouldn't let Sean cook dinner for you without getting one of the other kids to trial it first. :) :)
