Wait a minute.

I just noticed they have the frontier ( indians) smurfs again. So this will probably be in one display. Nice to see that they have started with those smurfs again. Maybe only in the US though???. :-D Please Gerda watch out for the addressmarking on the indians!!!! :o

And also the gargamelplayset is back?? Gerda if you see that in stores let me know!! Watch for date markings on box higher than 1001. :D (probably contains addressmarked Gargamel) Both playsetboxes are possible but for online but only?????? So we can´t check these boxes?? :(

And on more thing Gerda!!  The supersmurf-set with 4 supersmurfs, How is that sold?? New box? Together but with the 4 superboxes? ???

I don't think they ever took the gargamel box off the website so they must have a bunch left to sell. I'm not sure on the super smurfs but I think someone saying that they orderd the set smurfs once and it was just regular smurfs that came together so i'm just assuming that the supers are the same way. No special boxes or anything. but i'm just guessing.

Just came back from kmart and found new articulated figures. Will get pictures posted of those later and start a new thread on those. Boy i've been trying to be so good but when I fall off the smurf wagon I go bad :) :)

Boy now i'm tempted to run out of town to a smurf store and check all the boxes and compare... still have not gotten the coloring books yet either so i'll need to pick those up.. but what kind of mother would I be if I left my oldest home alone after he just had his wisdom teeth pulled.. then again he is feeling ok and happily playing xbox.. what to do what to do :daz:

I guess you are right about the playsets and the supersmurfs.

Here the last playsets just are out of stock now so I guess some stores still have these and want to get rid of the last ones??? :-?

The american frontier smurfs are also only available online. I still am able to buy a few of these in stores in Sweden so maybe it is the same with those. Leftovers from stock???? But the picture shows only 6 of them??

So I don´t think these will be in any displaybox. But if they are it will be nice to see if they have addressmarking??

Gerda,

I just noticed a thing to look for on the toys r us page.

Just like you told about the supersmurf-set they are probably not in a new box, because they don´t have a Schleich articlenumber.

The new displaysets have articlenumbers by Schleich. This means new boxes!! :-D

So the sets have these articlenumbers:
41244
41245
41246
41247
41248

So now we just want the pictures. !!

We will see if Schleicher or Gerda will be the first giving us these displaysetpictures!!!

maybe pictures will show up on the toys r us site before. I'm going to keep checking there as well but of course as soon as I get them i'll give as much detail of them without opeing the boxes I'm pretty sure if I try to do that it would be grounds for a execution :rip:

It will be intresting to see what one set contains.

For me 23 USD tells us that it possibly could contain more than normalsmurfs??? Am I wrong there Gerda and Maureen?? I don´t know the prices in US that good?

Tintin
You got me Frank!!

But when you think about it. When was the last time Schleich released a completly new articlenumber for the smurfs if you don´t count the normals released every year?????? Last 10 years they have removed items all the time. And since I like the accessories and playsets and the boxes I am very excited!!!

Hi

I checked the catalogues between 2000 and 2010 and Schleich has not released anything new for the smurfs except the new normals every year. So let´s hope this could be a start of a new era of Schleich-smurfs. And not just a new way to sell them in US instead of loose smurfs. ???

With the new movie I think this is the best time in many years for us hoping for new items from Schleich. So let´s hope for at least a few new items and maybe they bring a few old molds back in production??? :D

It would be a shame if Schleich who has produced smurfs for so many years would not take this opportunity to sell new items?? But as always nowadays it is only the money that counts, so they must sell otherwise they will probably be removed very fast again? :(

The normal price for a smurf here is between$3.99 and 4.99 depending on the store. It would be cool if a super smurf is in there but i'm more hopeing they don't over price these and people stay away because is would be cheaper to get single smurfs rather than a box set :-?

I am with you in that I hope they will be releasing new supers or even playsets, but I don't think so.

Americans are always hunting for bargains and I think this is Schleich's way of starting to sell smurfs in America again...and maybe of getting rid of some left over smurfs, so I wouldn't be surprised if they release some "older" smurfs in those sets.

I also still expect to find the Indian smurfs in those sets, and would love that as I'd hope to get more of the new markings this way. I think that's the thing I am most excited about...to hopefully get more smurfs with the new markings  Another thing I'd be interested in finding out is if all the smurfs in the boxes will have the same markings or if they just put them in there randomnly (I'd expect the latter..but obviously we'll have to wait and compare notes on that)

The price indicates it'll be only normal smurfs in the boxes...but I've been wrong before :) :)

Where did you see the side of the box, Andre? I haven't checked the site out today but wasn't able to see a picture of the box yesterday :-?
