That is great Frank!!

So nice to have it in original bags.

What is the marking on that smurf? Do you think those were sold later in the 90s??? Or earlier??

I don´t know either Frank,

but I can guess as usual??

The rugby omo in the DSK is marked with a red dot. And the bully kicker was removed from production in 1984/85. And you have the last marking made for the kicker in 1984/85. That would tell us they were probably sold around the same time as the minis??? :-?

So around 1984/85 for both minis and your kicker?? Probably the same promotion??

It seems they sold the large ones in bags. Maybe the smaller ones were sold together though?? :-?

Hi again,

These are described already in 1987 in the SCCI.

So that means made before 1987.

And with that marking on the kicker( from around 1984).

red dot on the rugby in DSK( red dots began in 1983)

Year marking 1983 on the minis.

Probably all were used around 1984/1985??? :-? :D

And again, that bag is awesome Frank!! :D

I have a few extra of the mini OMO smurfs, they had the marking in a different place so I considered them a variation :)
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Andre was asking about the Omo mini smurfs « Attractive » box… well I have this box.

I bought it throught the SCCI autions in 1988. It came sealed with the 16 mini blue Smurfs inside. The box is about 3 inches by 3 inches by one inch high. It’s clear plastic with a Basketball smurf on top. No marking on the box to link it to OMO. All the mini figurines are marked Peyo 1983 with a « c » for copyright symbol.
Enjoy the pictures

Thank you so much.

I have never seen this box before....do you know if the Omo promos were sold like this or if this was a SCCI exclusive?

Either way, it must be a super rare box...

Many thanks for that fantastic picture, Sunny Smurfette!!! :-D

That is great and probably confirms that these were sold together. Since it seems the box was made for the smurfs. Or do you think it is custommade box, Sunny???

I love those pictures!! :D

My guess is that it was sold like that a one point. The box was sealed with clear tape on the sides and it looks like it was made to hold the mini Smurfs.

I don't think it was made for the SCCI either... it was not Suzanne style to sale fake stuff or repackage items.

I bought mine in 1988... and another one was on sale in 1986... maybe there is another ex-SCCI member outhere with more information. :-?

I agree with you about Suzanne, Sunny!!

That is why I thought it was strange when reading on the BSCC-forum this; they wrote Suzanne customized the SCCI-smurfs without Schleich knowledge. That sounds extremly strange to me. At least when reading the announcements they had in the SCCI letters when these were released. They certainly seems approved by Schleich when reading these letters, right?? :-? :D What do you think??

Hi Guys & Girls! Hello to everyone! (Back after a long time in my cave) :)

If I remember right there was 2 sets of these mini blue Smurfs:
The original 16 OMO ones and a whole lot of other ones which had nothing to do with the original promotion.

The 2 pics below is what I have in that format. (There are also a lot of small rubbery ones of a similar size - I have pics of those if you are interested).

Either way I have never seen any of these in a box as above! Very interesting!

Cheers,

David
