Well André, The Johan and Pewitt belong to the unmarked minimodels
I guess, 40 % is unmarked.
But the minimodels with markings have never a year on them ( at least, I could not find any) apart from the Boca and Riva kickers..
They have 73 on the feet.

Lia,
like on the other Schleich products this is the moldyear. And it is correct. This soccerplayer was Bullys first smurf if you look at the numbers and it was made 73 and probably sold 74 if you look at my posters and Stefans catalogues from the first Bully years.
But they must have been made later than 1980 unless Schleich had a secret agreement with Bully to use this one before.
No likely, though.

I`m sure, you are right André!
In my opinion, all minimodels and Hering were produced in the eighties!

If you look at the smurfs made they were probably somewhere around 83 to 85 both for Hering and Minimodels, when Schleich was trying to conquer the world with their smurfs and toys. I think Martin told us Schleich got problems 1986 and stopped a lot of their activities and products. Like the lovely train they was planning releasing in the end of 1986.
So from 1986 every plan of smurfs conquering southamerica was dropped.
Maybe????

That is great that you found the variations, Brad
Interesting theory Andre....would definitely explain why they never pursued the Minimodels and Herings
