It was a long wait..but it was sooo worth it...
and the timing could not have been better...
It was one of my three missing German packages and I wanted to officially thank Tine for the opportunity to get this special smurfette...and also for the mentos...How did you know that I used to be totally hooked on these?
It is quite funny or sad (whichever way you want to look at it) but when I look back at the smurfs I got this year, I am simply amazed..I was able to add a lot of smurfs to my collection that I never thought were possible for me to afford or get...

Congratulations (and a little envy ... I'd love a super in the applaus box).
What's the best smurf you go this year then? Actually maybe I'll make a separate thread for that question
Congrats though.

I don't know, Tojo
I don't think so though..I am a bit funny this way but I have certain food items that I eat in certain countries
Perfect case in point..Nutella...give me Nutella in Germany every day and you have a happy Moey every day...since living here I only get it for very special occasions...of course the price could have something to do with it
But I really don't think we have mentos in my area (maybe up North they do
)

Most definitely...I guess they don't sell them in the south though
"Mentos....the freshmaker"

When I was up north I noticed a lot of sweets or food items, I remembered from years past, was sold up there, that I can't get down here
although it is getting better...I found that Target finally sells "Ritter Sport"
I have family members that tried to tell me for years now that I moved to the wrong part of the country (on my German side, not American side of course)..but if I started to do what my family wants me to do...let's face it..where would be the fun in THAT?

When I was in the US back in 2001 and 2002 I was really surprised of all the different flavours of M&M's, as in Italy we had only chocolate and peanuts, now we have also crispy, but my favourite one is almond.

Me too Paolo.....it's fun just going shopping overseas to see all of the different types of things....even better sampling a few of them.
America has my favourite types of chips that require firemen to put your tongue out after only a few chips

I love crispy M&M, but they're sooo rare.
I tryed them as free sample when I was first time in the US (they gave these little packs in the plane) - and I ate all of them (my own, my cousin's, my uncle's...) and then again, when we got a connecting flight.
It used to be able to buy them here in Denmark (in a few shops), but they vanished for about a year now.
I keep my eyes open for them though.
Almond? Never heard of, bet my bf would love those. He's crazy about almonds.

In America they even have Peanut Butter M&Ms
.....well that's surprising for anyone who doesn't live in America and doesn't think that peanut butter should be a part of every single food group there is

I must be becoming more americanized every day...because I think those are really yummy

I was too scared to try them......either that or I was just sick of too much peanut butter already.....I mean I had peanut butter ice cream even
