Blue Cavern

I just notice this smurf has a blue soap!

Is this a variation, paint error, or something else?



I have a bid on it, but lately every danish smurf collector seems to have woken up (maybe they got a good xmas bonus or something) and I keep getting outbided.

There's a buy now for 8€... which is almost double of what I would like to get it for.

Anyway, what do you experts think about this?

I would say that this is a blue PVC base figure and the painter simply overlooked painting the soap white when they were painting the hat. I could be wrong as you would never be 100% sure until you saw it in the hand, but that is what it looks liek to me.
