Duckie was under the impression that her praying Smurfette was a fake but I think that if my praying smurf is real then so is her Smurfette. What do you think? :-?

I think she looks real....if you look at Dyar's photo and explanation, Duckie's smurfette does not have the seam running in the wrong spot.

Image
MARKINGS: Portugal W Berrie Co 1982
DESCRIPTION:
1. Authentic variation - clearer/sharper markings
2. Fake variation - distorted harder to read markings.

Note the seam line on the fake one around the markings and runs straight up dissecting the hands. It runs almost straight down and underneath the Figure.
The authentic one has seam lines that go across the sides of the pinky finger and the seam lines run across the sides of the legs which is visible from the side on view.

Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.
