That looks like 'Biene Maja' from the cartoon show. my kids used to watch that when they were smaller.

I still have her in a pvc figure, I use to have a couple books too, but I don't recall the tv show, probably wasnt allowed to watch it as I was only allowed to watch sant manchen right before going to bed.. ah memories

OH, another memory
I used to spend the night once or twice a week at Granny's when Mum was out with her Young Christians group, and Granny and I would watch "the Onedin Line" and then the Sandmannchen....after which I always slept very very well

I'm sure Simon would love to sit & watch Sandmännchen with you too although he is a bit of a zapper so I'm never really sure what he's watching most of the time
