Could someone help me Id these smurfs correctly?
they are two lute smurfs with very bad seems, not so nice paint job, and the lutes on both do not have the bend like the other lutes. Both have the markings peyo W. Germany on the right foot and both are a harder material then normal smurfs.
Are these anything special other than fake (argentina, cnt.. ??) I never even knew I had them but while going through them I discovered these. (now I wonder what else is hiding in my collection
)

Hi, Gerda!!!!!!!This kind of fakes are very usual: hard material, Wgermany markings, bad paint job and lots of them have a big nose...I donĀ“t know about their origin or the when they were manufactured

Hi Gerda
Joaquin is right.....these are the usual common fake smurfs that the catalogues label as Grotesque......which is just a basic umbrella name for many types of fake smurfs......but these look to be the ones (by those huge noses) that were the common hard material ones that swamped the market a few years back and were fakes of the older original softer mould fakes. Nice to see you have a variation in colours though.

I am not sure of the origins of these ones Gerda. I think Attom or someone had an opinion that they may of been from the Netherlands originally......but I have not heard anyone say they definately know.
It's funny but I like them all no matter how ugly or cheap they are.....they are all part of the smurf collective and history.
I am sure plenty of other collectors also have these in their collections and thought they were original too. I don't think I would of known in the beginning if it wasn't for Attom and his insight into the other side of smurf collecting besides the regular smurfs.
Have you managed to kick the kids out yet Gerda? I know you were planning on it many years ago and I bet you have a lot more smurfs since then......it must be getting to a high priority state for new space by now.
Speaking of kids....who knew that Graham's son (or sons) was old enough to drive yet.....I saw at least one of them drive past me the other day and have photographic evidence to support it.......if they aren't old enough yet then I think you better have a father to son chat to them Mr Beers

That is an awfull long drive they did, Beers must share his secrets on how to get rid of kids, mine wont leave no matter what I do I must be carefull though as Sean most likely will walk out with half my smurfs so I think I will hold onto him as long as I can

Maybe I could take Sean with me on a road trip across the US Gerda.......there's no going back once he has done that.

PS: He still has to bring lots of your smurfs though

He would probably love it for about 3 days then get homesick, He tends to be more the homebody type, then again he is entering that age where I need to drag him kicking and screaming away from his room and the computer or xbox or tv..

Hey Dyar,
that numberplate would be awesome for our very own Mr. Beers.

Talking about these fakes. I guess my red mouth prisoner, I posted about two weeks ago, belongs to the same series.
However I just found gymnast and mechanic from the same series on another fleamarket on Sunday for 0,90 Euro each.
