Wow...I am very surprised that the Hazeros are in there as well as the plushes
Wonderful pictures..and it answers quite a few of my questions..especially regarding the combisets, sharpeners, sockels and music boxes
Thank you again, Stefan, for taking these pictures. I know it must be very very time consuming

Fantastic Stefan,
and it seems they marked all the normals and supers they would remove to next year also with a star. Shame they don´t do this know so we would know already.
And actually I think this year the boxes for the supers and playsets were not like the ones pictured. But maybe that is because they made the catalogues a bit before for the dealers???
And maybe therefore also the prototypes of smurfs and accessories in some catalogues.
I believe in 84 the supersmurfboxes were the ones with english and german on front?
And they changed the playsetboxes also.

Yes, they marked the smurfs for "not delivery next year" and did this for a couple of years, and I agree it's a shame
I think for cost reasons they used some pictures in the catalogues for more years, even if the mold or the box has been changed in the meantime i.e. tennisplayer 2.0049, and you need the catalogues a little bit earlier for your distributors than the smurfs...
I think they have photographed what they have had actually in their hands...
One of the best examples you will see in the 1985 catalogue then...

I think so too Stefan,
I regarding the boxes I am pretty sure they stopped with the UK boxes for supers 1982 and superschlumpf-boxes 1983. And started with the new three languages-boxes 1984 for supers and playsets. When I see which boxes I have it goes perfect with the releases you show in these catalogues.
And actually I have a couple off boxes which would be impossible to have if they changed them 1985.
It will be intresting to see the other catalogues. I am adding the years for the smurfs in my file when you show the catalogues and this is really good because the DSK years are not that accurate many times.
You told me you had the 1979-1984 W. Berrie catalogues also.
When they released the windmill 1982, which were the new smurfs in that catalogue? Which of the ones between 20146-20151? So I know which year I will put on them.

Yipee!! I now know the catalogue number for my shop display - 7042
It's cool to see him with his lantern (which mine is missing sadly).
