Hi my friends!!!!!!

I think we have spoken about it before but can´t find the thread...Is there a list with smurfy sharpeners sold by Schleich???It is really easy to put a smurf on the sharpener so...I would like to know which smurfs were really made by Schleich.

Hi Joaquin!

Dom told us this in a thread:

"According to what I have heard from a German smurf dealer last year, it all started out in UK either in the late 1970's or in the early 1980's. There was a British company, which produced the sharpener sockels for about two or three years. This certain company started gluing smurfs on that certain sockels, since they had bought a semi-license from I.M.P.S. Sometime later, this enterprise became bankrupt, there were more than 50,000 sockels left, which were then sold to another company from Hong Kong, which would then put other smurfs on the sockels, without explicit permission from I.M.P.S."

"Hi guys,
I just wanted to let you know that I have been talking again to the German seller on Saturday and I was given the following information on the sharpeners.

Only the first twenty pvc smurfs, which additionally have to derive from the first production series manufactured by Schleich or Bully were used for the official licensed sharpeners. After the bankruptcy of the British company, other companies as well private sellers started off gluing other smurfs as well as other PVCs on the sharpeners and sell them."

In Sweden the smurfs are blue ( and yellow).

I think they don´t show all of them Joaquin.

But according to my notes it is like this:

1979: article: 52000 4 different: Mech, Normal, Laughing, Crying.
1980: same as 1979
1980: Poster: article: 52004: Shiver, 52011: Laughing, 52016: Judge, 52017: Vanity, Note that they just have 52 and then the number for the smurf as in the end of the articlenumbers. So this year it could be 52001-52020??
1981: 20 different?? same articlenumbers. Pictured clown and Pupil
1982: same as 1981
1983: changed to higher sharpeners. Article: 52400 pictured secretary
1984: same but pictures Pupil and schoolgirl
1985: same but pictures dentist and aerobic
1986: same but pictures mermaid and carpenter
1991-1993 article: 54511 5 models?? pictured CB radio and cowboy.

But already, as Dom wrote, in 1978 they were sold in UK.

here you see that also the lute can be found.

My guess is that 52001-52020 can be found in the same orders as the articlenumbers on the smurfs??? :-? :D

But alreay in 1981 the Bully Pupil appeared. Probably because of that the sharpeners are often used in school so it is the perfect smurf for that??

And I don´t think that many smurfs can be found with the lower sharpener since they stopped with that already in 1982. That could be the 20 ones Dom writes about??? :-?
