that is great!! Then we can probably date the first red dot smurfs to around the time when thay also started changing to Schleichmarkings. And since these are more rare ones( with Bully and red dot), that would probably tell us that 1984 is a good year.
Actually everything is in some way connected.
It is pretty obvious Schleich was not alloved to remove the Bully markings on these until around 1984. This could actually mean that in 1984 Schleich also could use the W berrie marked ones in Germany. These markings also starts to show up approximatly the same year in Europe.
But I think those rather had to do with the drops in sales in the US in late 1984 and in mid 1985 when Applause stopped with new smurfs??
