Hi,
I saw this display in a bookstore in town and wonder if it is a new display or an old one??? Have you seen this before??
Another thing. I noticed I had the possibility to make a blog on my website also for free, so I started one for fun. I thought I would try to add at least one picture every day with a short comment. I mean the smurfs life in Sweden during a year?

The display has a lot of different languages on the front so i guess it is pretty new?? Maybe a few years though??
Not far from us is a old BP station from 1955. I will take a few smurfy BP-items with me and take some nice pictures. Maybe next week??
Here is the station. So fantastic!! A bit earlier than the smurfs though.

Did you check the year on it? I have the same if not very similar one that was released last year. I got mine from Australia but have heard it said since then that it was also used in Europe

I did not check the year Maureen.
I just took a secret picture with the phone. Because they don't like it when you take pictures in some stores.
So it is from last year?

This newer display was not made until mid-2011.
In the third quarter of 2011 I saw this display for the first time in a local post office.
It has the article number 20900.
In 2012 the new display should have the number 20902 because of the annual change in the individual figures.
The yellow display appeared already in 1989 for the first time in a dealer catalog from Schleich. 1989-1991 110 Smurfs were included (10 were for free). The display had the article number 20829.
In 1991 the design was changed slightly.
The yellow display appeared in 1992 under the article number 20824 and could be found until 2000 (always 100 Smurfs were included).
In addition there is also a smaller version of the yellow display with the item numbers 20825 and 20830.
Giochi Preziosi had this smaller version also on offer under article number 20752.
Then the yellow display could be found no longer in the dealer catalog. However, it was probably still being sold until the year 2011.
I've also found it in 2011 yet, but Schleich has a new label with the item number 20900 and the year 2011 stuck on.

That is great information Benny!!
The articlenumber 20900, could tell us it was made between 20899 Zodiacdisplay and 20901 Moviedisplay. So early spring 2011??
Thanks for helping with the articlenumbers.
