Hi,

I got my 2013 displaybox today with the new smurfs.

Last years smurfs was a bit strange to me since I could not find any cavitynumber on the weightlifter. Only on the weights.

This year 4 of the 8 new smurfs are 2 piece molds. And since I am a bit odd when it comes to markings I always examine them carefully. For me there should be a cavitynumber on each mold.

The molds that actually are 2 pieces are these:

Bridal couple. You could take the bride and the groom apart if it was not glued.

Valentinesmurf. The heart is a seperate piece.

Thank you smurf. The flowers are glued.

Partysmurfette. Glas and Smurfette.

See if we can find the cavitynumbers on all molds. 12 molds all together.

That`s not so easy André
I`m checking the new smurfs and the smurf with yellow flower has a 3
But did you notice that the 2piece molds have two date/clockmarkings?

Look Lia

I got three boxes with Schleich markings. First a large one, then a smaller one with the sticker and then the last one with the display inside. Should I keep all???

Well for me there is only one original one. The "two outside" boxes is actually only cardboard and only has stickers or sticky tape with Schleich info on them?? :-? Nice to see the date 27th November 2012 though. That´s the date I would have loved to have them in my hands. 8-)

I agree Lia,

It is not easy to spot all of the markings.

And I don´t think Schleich always needs all markings. I think Schleicher told us regarding the supersmurfs released when Schleich started with the new markings in 2009, that they just needed to put the addressmarking on one of the pieces in the box?? :-?

However the cavitynumbers and clockmarkings seems to be in all molds??

For example regarding the thank you smurf with the flower. You can find the cavitynumber and the clock/datemarking on both the flower and the smurf.

cavity number on flower on the steam and clockmarking on the back of the yellow flowers.

cavitynumber on the smurf is on the trousers between his legs and clockmarking under the feets. :-D

Valentinesmurf cavitynumbers and clockmarkings

Smurf both markings under feets.

Heart: cavity is a bit hard to find since it is behind the smurfs back. Clockmarking beside the addressmarking clearly visuable.

I don't have the smurfs yet but find it interesting that they are two piece molds (some of them). Just out of curiosity..is it as easy to pull them apart as it is with the super smurfs? I am wondering if in a few years these might be mixed and matched as the houses/supersmurfs/playsets. Like I said I don't have them yet, so I don't know how difficult it is

Hi Maureen,

they are glued so it would be difficult. But it is always possible to take them apart but then you would probably ruin them. :-? The bridal couple would be fun to take apart. It seems the groom has a hole in his jacket and the the bride has a plug. She also is shaped around the groom mold and not the other way around. Look at the ear. :D
