This sounds crazy, but I found most Herings in Holland, from a Dutch seller who worked in Brazil:-)))
That is a perfect way Lia.
As you say the Heringsmurfs are very hard to find. I have been lucky to be able to buy a few lots directly from Brazil. Heringsmurfs in very good condition are extremly hard to find, most are in played condition.
And it seems the Heringsmurfs with blocked markings sold on Ebay many times are the ones made by Minimodels. Those are of course also very nice to have but the ones from Brazil are a lot harder to find. Probably because Brazil was a very closed country when the smurfs were made and sold there, so not many brazilian Heringsmurfs have found their way to other countries.
I only have 13 of the Heringsmurfs with Heringmarking, and 9 of them with blocked marking but still from Brazil. The only one I do not have from Brazil is the Hiker. So actually I miss 10 of them with Heringmarkings. But the main goal now is to get all 23 in softer material from Brazil.
I hope I can find a big lot with a complete Hiker from Brazil. Sometimes they miss the flower. Buying only one smurf directly from Brazil is to expensive,:banghead: so if possible it is always better to buy lots. That goes from all countries I guess.
