I just realised that I have reached the 2,000 smurf mark this week when I was looking at where I had bought all of my smurfs from. Just for the record here's the breakdown as I was surprised by some of the results:

869 - USA
477 - GERMANY
336 - AUSTRALIA
165 - NETHERLANDS
40 - CANADA
39 - ENGLAND
26 - SWEDEN
20 - SPAIN
19 - SWITZERLAND
8 - FINLAND
5 - FRANCE
1 - BELGIUM

TOTAL - 2,005....I hope that means that I don't get another one until next year....2006.

Would like to see where other people have bought most of their smurfs from as well just oput of curiosity.

By the way – how come there are no Norwegian or Danish collectors?

I just recieved an order from Denmark so Danish smurfers are out there, somewhere!!

On ebay I buy mostly from the UK or US.

In that order I think. I may also have bought one from Belgium. I've also sold some to the US and the UK as well as Australia. I even sent some to Queensland...thats just about the other side of the world from here. So those are some jetsetting smurfs.

I have sold to Raelene and sent smurfs to Karen and about to or will send smurfs to Stace, Christine, Pauli, smurfysteve & Janne.

I have received smurfs from Karen, Stace, Pauli, Janne (soon), Linda, Richard, Christine, Papa, smurfysteve, Pauli, John, Anette.

Makes me wonder where these smurfs have been and how many others here once owned my smurfs or if I once owned the smurfs that currently reside at any of your houses. You are right Linda, these smurfs are jetsetters and seem to be constantly travelling from collector to collector. Considering some of these are 30 or 40 years old it makes me wonder how many owners they have had.

Don't worry Christine....I doubt there would of been 2,000 parcels yet as I usually get some big parcels and they would have a ton of smurfs in each one. I have 2 gigantic packages about to be sent from Germany that I am in euphoria over.....can't wait, can't wait, can't wait, can't wait... ...oops....heartattack
