I picked up these 2 smurf molds:
Brainy Smurf

Normal Smurf
I am a happy man, they would go well with my time line of a smurf from "mold" to "unpainted" to "half painted" to "fully painted"....
See Photo's below & please can anyone give me some info on these molds?:

I don't know anything Papa. Next time I speak to my Schleich contact I'll ask them if you like. I'm trying to give them some peace at the moment because I've asked a lot of questions lately!

Do you know how big they are Papa, I was always under the impression that the factories that produced smurfs used metal molds. Do you think they were used to make standard 2" PVC figures or were they used to make other smurf figures?
Very interesting........

Good question Rachel. I think they may be 2" molds - they may also be for "hardees" as Bruno puts them...I should get them soon. Then I can try fint the brainy and normal smurfs into the molds and if they fit them I'll know. I can't see and "peyo" signatures on the feet on the inside of the mold from the picture. I should have a little history in email tonight...

Papa, please do tell us any info on the molds when you find out, also I like this idea of yours for showing the smurf from beginning to end product. Cool!
