Smurf house question

Dear all,
Yesterday I went at my parents' to pick my Smurf house.
This is the one with red roof and white "dots" and GREEN key.
I noticed that on the windows there was not the green part (for panes) you can find on the Smurf house with YELLOW key version.
My question is then the following one : am I missing these parts on my house or was this 1st version (with green key and wooden table, seats, ladder) released without these parts ?
Thank you in advance for your answer !
Stef

Hi Stef
I think the green key version might be a very early version of the red house although I am only guessing here. I don't have this version yet although I have been searching for one for a long time now. They are quite hard to find so it's great that you have one.

Thank you Cheesy for the link but I was not able to find any detailed picture for the red roof smurf house with green key....
I will post some pictures tonight (concerning the copyright and so on...).
So my question is still pending, any help more than welcome to enlighten me
See you later

I have bought a house with a red roof recently and it has a yellow key.
I didn't know there was a version of it with a green key. Maybe it was a transition time between red to green (or green to red depending when they started to appear)... as in new house roof color comes in, but still stock of the keys... just thinking...

The green one was a special version from a very big mail order company called "Quelle". That picture above is from Ösi-Schlumpf because he has still the original prospect from this company... But that is only what I know so far....

Back from my memories...I had this Red Roof Smurf house with green key on Christmas 1977 or 1978 can't remember precisely.
It was coming with furniture in brown colour.
I have cleaned it and will shoot pics in the following hours.
Concerning the windows panes I have the strong feeling there were none but..oh well you know child memories...
It seems that the Quelle version had panes but when was released this version ?
Any help welcome to tell me if my house is complete...or not
Later,
Stef

Hi Stef, unfortunately I do not have the green key version of the house yet either so I cannot help. I will look forward to seeing your pics though.
One of the problems with the houses is that unless you have had the item from new it is very difficult to say 100% that the smaller items such as keys and frames have not been mixed up in the past. I always try and check pics of boxes to see what should be with what but it can be very difficult sometimes.

I can guarantee that the green key is genuine since I am the only owner of this house
But I can't guarantee that I have not lost the panes

OK here are the pics, I have made a close up of the copyright, maybe it differs from the one appearing on "yellow key" houses.
Overview w/ green key
No panes (missing or not ? that is the question)
Copyright on the bottom

Hi Stef
I agree with David that the pics are very very good ones but I don't have this variation so I can't help very much but I would logically think that the house would of had window panes originally.......but that is just a guess really.

I guess you're right, my house certainly misses the green (brown ?) panes in the windows...I know what I need to do
Thank you for all the comments

Hi Stef, although I can't be 100% sure, I have found a pic of the house with green key (in Karen's shop) that shows the house has frames. As I say, this doesn't prove 100% and I don't have this house complete from new but I would personally believe it should have frames.
Back to your parents house for another look?

Unfortunately no chance to find them, all my Smurf stuff was located in the same bag so...
I have memories of a piece of this house hard to fix (for a 5 y/o boy LOL) maybe I got fed up with this panes and in the end lost them...
Nevertheless I am also enclined to believe there was such parts so I've started looking for some spare panes to complete my beloved house
See you later,
Stef

Hi Rach
In that pic the flower box is yellow....did this variation ever exist or was it just another one of those box variations that we'll never have?
I am thinking it was only ever featured on the box and nowhere else but that is just another guess of course.

Hi Dyar, yep it is one of those ones isn't it. I also don't recall seeing the yellow flowers so you could well be right. I still don't have that much knowledge about the houses as I don't have many boxed purely down to how much room they take up.
