Looks fake to me I'm afraid..the face looks squashed
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

hi

I also think this looks super fake, and personally I wouldn't trust the

surprise cone smurfs either, I see so many orange and gold lately and

white ones, bright yellow ones, blue ones.. and bright green ones, etc

so please be careful.. if anyone thinks of buying something that pricey.

ask the seller if he will guarantee them as real? :) :) :)

unless you collect them as fakes and get them cheap!

I know the yellow surprise cone one sold for 112, canadian and
three more have shown up on EBAY.
same as this yellow bottle and green bottle, yellow and red apples!
someone/ sellers are getting real rich!

I just think they should list these and be honest what they are.. or where they came from all of a sudden? as they are cool lookin.

These are all fakes??? I guess, the green bottle has to have "Staatl. Fachinger" on it to be genuine?

I have realized when looking at my new smurf, that his face looks different from the others.... is that the only way to tell he is a fake or is another clue the diploma being glued on (actually it's coming loose).... I have noticed the same on your pictures.... the surprise cones are definitly glued on...

Also, how much money would you spend on a fake smurf like that? :-?

hi Smurfy!

when I first started collecting I had no clue and thought stuff like this was rare..and would spend like $50 bucks or so

now I think maybe 10 to 20 is fair. or less.. anything more is
not worth it..as I notice another always comes up again a week later once the auction closes..

I still think your fake grad is a nice one to own..as I love fakes

and its not bad having one , and hopefully you will find a good deal on a

real one.. just be patient and carfeful.

Hi samismurf

I also agree totally with what Attom says above about the price you should spend and to not pay a lot for these as they keep coming and therefore will keep being produced especially if people are willing to pay silly money for them.

I bought both the fake and an authentic one from a form member here named John (hugofilia) so he may be able to help you with an authentic one or anyone else who wants one as he is an honest and reliable seller....I even bought more stuff from him today.

Nice pages Attom :D

I am still hanging out for one of those CNT Indians...they do look soooooo nice. I also love that fake dark Jungle Smurf...I haven't seen that one before.

I also noticed there are quite a few variations on those pages which is great to see. I really hope you can get everything onto your website one day as you have such a nice collection that is so different to everybody elses....I would really love to be able to see them anytime I felt like it. The new pages look great and let me know whenever you do some new stuff as I am sure there are plenty of smurfs that I have never seen before.....I can go over there and drool at them all.

That green bottle in Attoms picture isn't the bottle used for Staatl Fachinger Smurfysmurf..that one is a dark green and has a different neck, it's long and tapered. The one in Attoms photo is a FAKE of thirsty smurfs orange bottle. I have seen some blank Staatl Fachinger bottles which I think are okay (okay in the fact that they aren't FAKED).

Yep there is a variation (W Germany CE markings) of the green bottle without the "Staatl. Fachinger" print which is authentic.

You can see what Steve means by the shape of the bottle in this pic compared to the regular shaped ones and the fake one above.

Yes there have been many many of these fakes with different colour accessories lately. The particular seller who seems to be the source of these is getting more whacky with their colours too and although I had hoped the latest batch of auctions would end at lower prices as bidding seemed very quiet on them, they all flew up in price towards the end of them. :banghead:

In fact I have just noticed they have listed yet another lot. :x

http://cgi6.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... ompleted=1

The seller who is selling the fake grad smurf as mentioned at the beginning of the thread has been buying a lot of these fakes and then sells them on with little or no description.

I have started mentioning these fakes on Blue Imps but it looks like I will have to update this page to include some of the newer versions.

http://www.blueimps.com/smurfs_news17.html

Really it just goes to show what can be made these days and should make us even more aware of possible fraudsters. :-?

hi Rachel!

that page you posted is shocking, and every week he is selling the same ones, like a small production line is goin on.

its too bad they are goin so high in price, and who knows what the buyers
are going to do with these??/ thats another worry..

this makes one wonder how long this has been goin on..and how many

smurfs we all have that are reproductions.. ? which is really what he

should list these as..

those white rholings of the Indian and jungle, etc look very odd like they
are hard plastic or something?

Great page Rach....the info on blueimps is 2nd to none :D

Hopefully more people will access this page and they will become known as fakes rather than testversions as they have been listed as. If they ever sell for about 5-8 euros then even I may end up with some at some stage as they would be interesting to have a closer look at them.
