I plan to put at least one smurf sticker on
it!
Only one sticker?
Looks like there's room for 2 or 3 at least!
Nice car Attom,
Trish

hi! Pitufo
I actually did buy it on on EBAY... who would have thought to buy a car this way! hehehehe!
I actually was the highest bidder, but didn't meet the " reserve'
and the car was actually in my city, so today I went to see it! and bought
it, but outside EBAY as the listing was done anyway.!
now I have to get the licence, etc and hopefully have the car in a couple of days!
its called a Fiat 500 Giardiniera (Station Wagon) Microcar
I'd never heard of or seen one before..but its like a mini van kinda
and great for city driving. which I mostly do, and I still have my old other
car just in case I need it..
its a 1965 year..
hi Aussie smurf!
and yea maybe I will end up with tons of stickers? or a large smurf on it!
:):):):) scare the neighbours!
hi Eggie
its sooooo cute! couldn't resist,, I'm sure I was hooked once I saw that
color!
Karen! he could always come visit and borrow it!

hi dyar!
thanks!
its not a bad idea to get some of those large smurfs like Eggie won
and put them in that car as extra passengers! then I'll really look
crazy and have some fun chuckles!

hi Raelene
I think I might just put one huge one on it! or maybe I should wear a smurf
costume and that may work?? there aren;t many smurf lover chicks
here in Toronto? but hey! I'm sure it will be fun!
its such a non practical car.. where as I could have bought a sports car
for the same cash.. which would be easier for meeting nice girls?

That is one cool car Attom.
I think this is such a cool car to own, apart from the fact it is so cute, older cars have so much history with them which makes it even more special and I think the idea of making your new car smurfy is fantastic, I can't wait to see what you do.
I have to admit, we also bought a car on Ebay a couple fo years ago. We bought a 1969 beach buggy. Rich and his Dad have just about finished restoring it and we should hopefully have it back on the road within the next few weeks, I can't wait.

Hi Attom, hopefully we will be out in it soon. It has been off the road being restored for quite a while but it is almost ready. I will post some pics when we go out in it.
Have you driven your new smurf mobile yet?

hi Rachel
no, I havn't driving it yet, I paid for it today, and I hope tommorrow
I get the paperwork, etc. its being certified in the morning by a mechanic
first, then get the insurance papers, etc and finally try to get to the
gov't office here to get a permit and licence plates.
phew! and if all goes well I may have the car Saturday!
this would be great as its a long weekend here again! (every month we have one)
but if not I will have to wait till Tuesday or Wednesday

I don't think "nice girls" are attracted to sports cars, Attom. (Though a lot of men prefer those naughty girls
)I think you're more likely to get some nice girls with the smurfmobile.
With your artistic flair you should be able to paint a nice smurf design on the car shouldn't you??

hi Linda
maybe yes??
once I get the car, like anything new , I will probably be in it all week!
and off course off to the beach! then I'm sure to meet lots of nice girls!

Yep I agree with Linda......I think this car suits your personality as an artist which makes you an even more interesting guy rather than some jerk who thinks he's god's gift to everyone cos he has a sports car.
I have an old bomb as a car and despite not impressing anyone besides the neighbour's dogs (cos I probably can't outrun them in it) it allows for me to buy more smurfs which suits me just fine. Anyhow some of my siblings have sports cars and they are so worried about parking it everywhere incase it got stolen or scratched or something which would be just frustrating for me as I'm not really a car type of a person. A complete stranger once cheekly questioned why I bothered putting a clublock on the steering wheel as no one would be bothered stealing my car....I replied to them that I was actually tying the lock to the car so no one would steal the lock as it was worth more than the car.
That had him stumped
