Excellent find, Simon...I've never seen these accessories with their actual correct Kwak item so this is good to know. :D

Hi

Are those really the correct figures ?
A shovel and a stove together, it looks a bit strange to me.
But i don't cook very much.

No serious is there anyone who has a catalog or book with these
items in them ?
Because i have talked about these a lot with many collectors, but
not one could show me any proof if they are from kwak or smurfs
or maybe other figures. :-?

Yes they are from Quack for sure.

You are correct Tintin in the sense that these figures did not originally come with these accessories, but that's because they were not sold in boxes like the supersmurfs: These accessories were actually sold as part of the complete sets like the farm of the windmill.

Many so called collectors don't want this to be widely known as it would make the "Smurf sleeping in a white bed" sudddenly not really worth the 400 Euros they are asking for, as a "special" price to a "friend".

That's very interesting...thanks for posting this, Simon

I have often wondered about the white bed and green stove

the well looks very much like the smurf well though or didn't I look closely enough? :-?

Thanks Simon, great link and info. :-D

Like so many collectors, it was a good few years before I learnt that these were not in fact "rare" smurf items and so could cross them off my wanted list. I think I knew about all the different ones but to see pics of them like this with the Alfred J Kwak figures is wonderful.

Thanks. :thanks2:

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

I went after 4 things and walked away with one of them.....and only cos I didn't have the brown handle on the bucket from the Well playset....oh that and the fact that no one really wanted that auction too :-?

I got annihilated by the bidding frenzy at the end...oh well, maybe next time...kwak kwak fwak

Congratulations on your wins guys. :carrots:

I wish I had been at least a bit suprised to see some of the big smurf sellers bidding high on a few items but unfortunately I wasn't suprised in the slightest. :???:
