[Hi Brad

I got back Monday night after no sleep on the plane....then I thought I had DVT so I went into hospital and didn't get to see the doctor until 2am only to find the symptons had disappeared by then :banghead: ....I went without sleep for something like 33 hours since I woke up from Maxine's house which wasn't the best...but then the other day I didn't sleep for about 36 hours as I tried to get back to normal sleeping hours after waking up at 1pm the day before and then staying up to 3am the following day so this week has been a tough one to adjust. I am so tired right now but after tonight I should be in the rhythm of things and will just be tired from staying up too late as per normal. :)

OMG!!! That sounds horrible!! Hope you get back to your own rhythm asap. Btw. have you already been to work?

FYI; :teaching: Ten years ago the UK spent £20 million on Halloween, in comparison early figures for this year show that it was in excess of £120 million. Now thats a lot of money! :witch: (a bit of useless info...sorry)

WHO NEEDS BIRTHDAYS WHEN EVERYDAY IS A SMURFDAY

@Maxine: The Germans are no way better when it comes to spend bucks for nothing. They spent so much money on fireworks on New Year's Eve. Many people living in my suburb start shooting them on December 1st already. :o

I don't miss such things like that at all.

Thank Dominique for all of the smurfy dreams...I received them this morning :D

I went back to work on Thursday after being told off for not turning up on Wednesday.....that's why I had to stay awake for so long so the next time I slept was at the normal time as I was still on European time...although in the end I ended up staying up for about 4 hours too long anyway trying to get through emails....silly Dyar :o

The DVT episode wasn't the best and it did look really bad as both legs were swollen at the calves and then it suddenly went skinny so it looked to me (not really knowing what DVT looks like) like there was a clot and I noticed I had all of these spots on my ankles and over my feet. It did look really bad as the lower legs look deformed because of it...I only noticed when I came home and had a shower. I was gonna go traight to bed but instead had to drive to the hospital and sit and wait...boy it was hard to stay awake and a couple of times I nearly dozed off only to suddenly jump back up again....once I did I looked around and everybody was kind of smiling/laughing at me but I was not in a very good mood as I just wanted to sleep and now I had to worry that there was a serious problem with me.

The first nurse said she had no idea what it was but figured I wasn't in any pain so I could wait until (in my opinion...the people with colds could go first :) ) the people who were in pain could be seen first. At 12am I saw a nurse who talked about doing a bloodtest but after seeing her superior (as she didn't know what it was either) she said that they would now wait until the Doc has seen me. At 2am I got in but the sympton was gone and so I felt liek I wasted 4 and a half hours battling lack of sleep and boredom to be told that teh sympton have all disappeared except for the rash.....he gave me prescription for the rash but by morning it had all disappeared so I didn't even bother with that. I have no idea what I had but perhaps it was the early signs of DVT but luckily everything turned out ok. I could of done without it though.

Just as long as it isn't "Tutu 2"......actually it would add up to quite a sixy name wouldn't it?

...no teepee or totem pole like I have been hoping for
Guess what! Schleich actually DOES make a totem pole and a teepee...not sure if these are bigger than the smurfs, but there you go :D

WOW Staci, how did you find them ? I'd say they'd be ok to use !

Good find ! :D

:-D

The next time I'm in town I'll have to check out how big they are to see if they'll fit to the smurfs sizewise. Schleich only released these in September this year so they're new to the indian range.
