This year the the eurovision song contest will take place in Russia.

The swedish final was 2 weeks ago. There have been a lot of complains from Russia regarding the swedish comedygroup "Grotesque" and their performance in the final. I think that even the russian embassy has been involved in the protests. :-?

Now many swedes think we should send this contribution to the final instead of the winning one. We would probably get zero points from Russia. This is the most populair download in Sweden now. I can´t help liking the dancing bear though. :D

Well that's not exactly politically correct now is it?! :) :) Funny though, and it's probably better than whatever the UK entry will be! :o

For the last eleven years, this contest has become really hilarious. :(

Btw. our candidate was eventually chosen by a jury.

The Band "Alex swings, Oscar sings" consists of famous German music producer Alex Christensen and gay Cuban make-up artist Oscar Loya. The song was presented officially at the German Echo awards a couple of weeks ago.

Frankly speaking, I dare say that I don't like any of the two songs.

:) :) :) :)

I can't think of any reason why the Russians wouldn't like this entry? :-?

Thanks for posting it, Andre...it really made me smile :)

Thanks for posting the German entry as well, Dom.

The German entry is simply embarassing :???:

They should have taken the winner of the Bundesvision Song Contest instead, Peter Fox. Germany might have stood a chance of not getting 'nil point' then :) :)
