US Postal Service Priority Mail® Estimated delivery 2-3 days
US Postal Service Parcel Post® Estimated delivery 2-9 days

With the cheaper option, the seller waits a week to mail it -- hence 2-9 days.

Well, OK, maybe I can't prove it. Ever watch a tracked parcel go no where for a week because the seller bought the postage via paypal but hasn't actually taken the parcel to the post office?

"No, you don't understand. I bought the tracking number, paid too much, so bought new postage the next day. You'll get the package in 5 days, honest."

How are they getting away with it, waiting a week before shipping the package? :yikes: I thought when you buy the postage via Paypal you have to ship it the day listed on the package slip.. :-? :-?
I actually shipped one package the next day one time, and brought it to the post office to make sure I had enough postage on there. The postal lady was going on and on and on about the actual shipping date being different from the date on the shipping label. :???:

I received the parcel on Saturday, so he must have really sent it on Tues. It looked strange, initially, though, when I received that dud tracking link.

HI Tim, I think I have just about given up trying to work out how some sellers deal with their shipping of items. You got such extremes, one item will arrive within a few days of winning an auction even though it has travelled a few thousand miles and then you will have another item that takes weeks to turn up even though it was bought from 50 miles away! :-?

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......
