I started considering what I collect & ended up with a list:-

smurfs
CD's
hotwheels cars
model trucks given away with cases of beer
asterix books
wargaming figures (napoleonic french - painted by myself)
golly badges
coins (as & when I see something I like)
stamps (not very seriously)
playmobil knights
lego knights
hütschenreuther porcelain bells (for the xmas tree)
used to collect beer labels (still have them all)
sanes goes for coca cola bottles from around the world
collected whimsey porcelain houses by wade (have 4 missing from the set)
have the complete inspector morse series as books & dvd's

there's probably more things I could add but me brains siezed up.

I collect comics (all kinds, but mostly Flemish ones and all of Dupuis Editions) and comic related stuff, and books (SF, fantasy, some juvenile, everything by Flemish illustrator Demoen, everything by writer John Flanders (aka Jean Ray)), and Mike Oldfield records. I try not to collect anything else, although I often think of something that it would make a fun and not too expensive collection (like those hitcollection records of the seventies, by companies like K-Tel: collect all those records with semi-nude or semi-sensual ladies on the cover, and you have a truckload of real seventies culture :) ).

Teun, I also like Guust Flater comics a lot :) Although I know him by his finnish name "Niilo Pielinen".
Is he also called "Gaston"?

Ooops, this must be off topic, if anything

Original name is 'Gaston Lagaffe', Dutch name is 'Guust Flater'. Don't know if he has been translated in English, but he should, he's a real classic. The first comic anti-hero ('The Spirit' was the first comic anti-superhero, but that's a completely different thing). And indeed, this is OT, so back to topic :)
My girlfriend collects Snoopy, but nor very fanatical 8)
